A unique opportunity to learn, meet and tweet with the top local and national industry experts
Ladies That Tweet is a concept that was developed by three social media savvy entrepreneurial women in Cornwall. The idea behind the event is to bring together like minded women that are using digital technology and social media to engage, influence and develop online relationships for personal and professional means.
Ladies That Tweet is a Cornwall based initiative that seeks to become a not for profit organisation within the next three years, with all money being reinvested in future events and in growing the business to create a national network of ladies that tweet.
Organisers, Shelley Fletcher, Clemi Hardie and Jo Wood, plan to hold quarterly events for women that provide insights into the latest social media and online trends, technology and tactics through national and international, inspirational digital and online expert speakers. At each event a local expert speaker will join the main speakers for a panel discussion and there will always be the opportunity for a Q&A session and networking.

Looking forward to meeting all the other ladies at our first event – we’ve got a cracker lined up!
Following the storming success of our May event in the glorious surrounds of Exeter Castle, Ladies That Tweet are proud to announce our third event which will take place in Bristol on Tuesday July 3rd. This event really is one to clear your diary for, with keynote speech from the Girl With The One Track Mind herself, Zoe Margolis. The event is being held in association with Bristol Media with the support of our lovely sponsors – MailAway and Northcliffe Digital
Zoe’s anonymous award-winning blog became a sensational success in the mid-naughties, attracting over 100k unique visitors a month. In 2006 that blog was turned into a bestselling book and Zoe was famously ‘outed’ by the Times. Since then Zoe has made a career writing and speaking about blogging, tech, feminism and sex.
Those attending will also hear from Anna Penrose of MailAway about using email marketing to compliment and increase the impact of social media activity. Gail Parminter, Creative Director of MadWomen will discuss the ways in which women use social media to engage and influence, then will look at how this in turn should influence female centric social media campaigns.
Ladies That Tweet are extremely excited to be welcoming all of our speakers to our Bristol event and look forward to seeing lots of professional digital South West women there. The event will be held at Brasserie Blanc in the Cutlers Roomwith everyone being treated to canapes made by the highly skilled team of chefs, put together by Raymond Blanc himself. We think that delicious isn’t even going to cover it.
An additional speaker will be confirmed next week – we’re itching to tell everyone!
Tickets are £20 and include a welcome cocktail and some delicious canapés to get the evening going. You can get your tickets right here
